When my 2008 Prius w/ 178000 miles in stopped and the gas engine kicks on or off, I feel a significant movement in the engine area. The car didn’t use to do this and I’m wondering what the fix may be. I swapped out the mount on the bottom of the motor but that didn’t seem to have any affect.

Yes, typically when the heat or A/C is on.

Yes there's is a significant jolt once in a while when the motor starts and stops. Pretty normal. Its probably worse if the car needs a tune up.

Mostly new owners post about that. You'll get used to it.

    I'm chasing this down myself

I got my rehab prius a few weeks ago.

I changed out the oil, mobil1 0w-30 and did a transmission drain/fill, changed out the PCV, spark plugs and filter

My cat is also super clogged, I'm waiting for my new one and the cat donut gasket is partially blown out
