    Hi jprates,

No, they are not typos or induced "errors". I have explained how to derive the formula in this thread.

Thanks Vincent, that makes sense now.

Since I'm in Europe I'll just need to use the original ºC value plus the delta.

I'm going to re-read the thread to see if anyone else has done it already with meters, ºC and all other international standard units so that I don't need to. If not then I'll start converting them myself.

Post-EDIT: Never mind, I had forgotten about the Metric tab in the excel. Thanks again.

    Cheers,

Strange error encountered today. I used the wonderful PIDs supplied here (thanks guys) and successfully disabled the reverse and seat belt beeps. However, I ran a diagnostic for fun and everything passed except this:

    MID:$70 TID:$12
    -
    Max: 45,019 Min: 6,472
    Test result value: 65,520
    FAIL

Not sure why there is no description and I'm hoping it's just an error on behalf of the Torque app; I would appreciate some feedback regarding this.

FYI...CyanogenMod 12.1 runs much better than the stock Google Android installation of Lollipop 5.1.1 on the Nexus 7 2012 version. I was ready to eBay this tablet until I tried CM - now it's my official Torque tablet.

The time has come to provide the same for Prius Prime.

Anyone know of a source for the PID values and equations yet ?

I created this thread to start collecting information on Prime PIDs. I have tried a few things, but not made much progress. I am waiting for an updated version of TorqueScan as there is a bug in the current release that no file of scanned PIDs and responses is created. Feel free to peruse what has been tried.

My kingdom for...a code to reset the proximity sensors to beep three times and then BE QUIET if you aren't moving. (Yes, it exists.)

Just to re-up my request...My Prius Prime cries (or beeps) out for a code to reset the proximity sensors to beep three times and then be silent. Anyone?

I'm wanting to get a project called EVNotify updated to work with the Prius Plug-In. Specifically I want a way to get notified what the SoC while the vehicle is charging so EVNotify can ping my phone with that info periodically until fully charged. Apparently I can't post links to this forum yet. You can find EVNotify on Github.

I played around for a while last night with Torque and the exports provided in the first post on this thread. Sadly I couldn't get any data out of my OBD dongle when the ignition was off other than engine off.

Anyone found a way to get State of Charge/SoC (or anything that says "car is charging from the J1772 plug") while the car is off (presumably to charge)?

I have a 2017 Prius Two Eco (4th Gen), and I'm wanting to view all this stuff in Torque, specifically the battery voltages, temps, fans, and resistances so I can monitor my battery health as well as my tire pressure so I know when they need a refill to keep getting the best MPG. I have done a lot of research and was able to convert some Scangauge info into custom PID's for the Torque app, but that's very limited information, and nothing like what @vincent1449p has compiled for the 3rd gen.

Could anyone, or would anyone be interested in I guess is a better question, helping me figure out where I can get the PID information torque requires that work on the 4th Gen (I'm in the process of testing which 3rd Gen ones still work, but it's not many, and definitely not a lot of the stuff I really want). None of the 3rd gen battery codes work (I think because in my year they switched everything above the Prius Two, including the Two Eco, over to Li-ion, so there are more cells and different codes). I also can't get the TPMS codes from Scangauge to work (method 1 gets no results, and method 2 the windows appstore converter I was using won't convert it).

I'm new here so I can't post a link, but I have a Google Sheet with what I have so far and will post it when the site lets me.

Looks like a lot of other people here contributed too after reading more posts, @usbseawolf2000 seems to have done a lot too, would appreciate help from anyone, just thought I'd tag these two based on what the thread looked like, and how knowledgeable they seemed.

    Hi jprates,

I am struggling using Torque pro with my Prius Alpha 7 seater which contains Li-ion battery same as Prius Phv. It also hsa 8 blocks and 56 cells. Each cell has 3.6V. European version of Prius Alpha is Prius Plus which also has Li-ion battery.

I tried with Prius 3rd gen PIDs but some are not really fitted. It has 14 blocks pids and number 09 and 10 shows erratic values.

From your discussion in this thread, I think PIDs for Phv is more relevant to Prius Plus/Alpha. I am seeking your help to use PIDs for Phv to my Alpha Li-ion. Could you suggest me the way how can I adopt these pids?

Thanks for the PIDs, they're great!

    I'm using Torque Pro 1.12.100.

All virtual PID what contains equation of two or more other PIDS not working for me. Do You have any tips or solution?

Btw I've found a mistake. An asterisk missing after the last right curly bracket from the PID below.

    PHV Battery Power,"PHV Bat Pwr","","VAL{Power Resource VB} * VAL{Power Resource IB} 0.001341022089595","-60","60","hp",""

    Thanks,
