everyone. Pls I ha e being lurking on Amazon some hours ago now, sourcing for some hobby chargers to order for.

I'm kinda confused which do I go for?
There are a lot of them on Amazon, but which to choose is being a problem.

I don't want to spend money on a charger that I won't like or won't be suitable for my kind of job.

I fix lots of priii, Camries, and highlander battery packs.

Not minding the time it would take me to performed the tasks, and the cost of the chargers, for instance, how many of your recommended chargers you think I should order, if for instance, I was rebuilding a Camry hybrid (with 34 modules)?

    Thanks guys.

I have custom made chargers I made myself, and my budget is about $200-300.

PS: I'm trying to choose amongst,
    1. Venom pro quad 400W(1000W x 4) 7A 4-port AC/DC multi chemistry Lipo, LiHV, NiMH battery balance charger with two 5V 2.3A USB outputs with XT60, deans, HXT, Tamiyia, EC3, JST;

2.EV-PEAK CQ3 Lipo battery balance charger, 1000W x 4 10A four channel Lipo, lihv, life, nicd, NiMH battery charger discharger and a 3. Hitec 44254 charger

Is pack rebuilding a major part of what you do?

How many packs are you doing in a defined timeline?

What about time commitment for rebuilds: what is an acceptable time commitment?

    1. Yeah, not that much. I augment my fix of conventional cars, with hybrid repairs.
I know where you might be heading with this question on pack rebuilding.

I don't have much resources for the hybrid prologue charger for now, but intend to get that later on.

    2. I do approximately two packs in a month. And this isn't just Prius specific. Covers Camry and highlanders.

    3. Don't have issues with time, cos I can actually augment the charging rate with my custom made chargers.

I just needs something that would atleadt give me a view of battery capacities via intelligent chargers.

What charger did you end up going with and why? Do you like whichever one you got?

    Thanks!

One thing I'm looking for is a built in power supply so it will just plug into the wall and I'd like to be able to set the charge/discharge to automatically cycle 3 times. Some of the ones that have auto cycle from discharge to charge only do it once then stop and you have to reset it for each new cycle.

I think he’s asking about a hobby charger.

The hobby chargers do that. But I don’t think they make one that will cycle 3 times like he wants. There could be one but it would probably be expensive.
