    Hello,

My washer tube torn where it comes from fender to hood. Basically at the plastic elbow on the hood. Is there a way to repair and if so can you point me to correct parts? I'm thinking a small section of tubing and 2 connectors probably do it but no idea the sizes

Is there enough slack in the tubing to clip the torn end and reattach? If not, then yes you could do a patch job. Or, replace the entire tube. If replacing or patching snip a very small end off the tube and take to an auto parts store to get the right size tube. I am sure they have plastic connectors too. You home center (Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, etc) probably has all the needed items as well.

It's a good 3 inches or more. I've looked online and local stores don't seem to show it. I am not sure of exact size

Are there no hardware or automotive stores nearby?

Do you have some drill bits, preferably a set? Use those to determine the Inside diameter.

I remember replacing mine a few years ago. I don't remember that it was hard to do. I just took a little piece to the auto parts store. It's not special.

I do have some stores nearby. Would home depot have the connectors and hose and what department would it be?

Yes they would. The customer service desk can help you find everything you will need

But if they're busy and you feel like a DIY type of customer, check the "Plumbing Department".

HD might have something like that, but since they don't stock auto parts, it would probably be a coincidence. They're pretty good about helping you find stuff. Just show it to an employee and ask if they know where to find it. Your best chance, though, is at a decently stocked auto parts store.

You've got to let your keyboard do the walking lol. You can look things up, see the price, how many are available at your local Home Depot, even what aisle they're on.

Do the same thing on a smart phone, and you've got all the info at your fingertips when you walk in.

Some stores you can even buy online and pick up in-store, which is good if their stock is low and going fast.

If stumped as to what's available, names, google search your best guess, maybe image search, and you should get some results.

Say "washer tube connectors" for example.

The home center should have hydroponic irrigation tubing and barbed connectors. These should be close to the size of washer tubing.

Pretty sure an aquarium/fish store or pet supply would have everything as well.
