I’ll get a picture with them on in the daylight as soon as I have a chance.
The light output would hardly change since I only did 2 super thin coats and then 2 coats of glossifier. I didn’t want them smoked to look black because then you wouldn’t be able to see the turn signal well.
You can compare it with the headlights, which you can see the DRL is more gray.
    This picture was pre-scratch ):

The 5500k set up. I think there is only one hid option for them. I have daytime pics but you can’t really tell

Edit: here’s the kit I got:

H11 Morimoto Elite HID Systems | H11 HID Headlights

The important pic is showing the Lo beam light pattern against a light colored wall in complete darkness.
    >How much 'spill' is there above the Lo beam cutoff pattern?
    >Is that pattern clearly defined compared to the stock incandescents?

They may seem 'great' to you but they could be horrible to oncoming drivers.

The roads are flooded with cheap, illegal LED and HID 'Direct Replacement' bulbs that do not work with the headlight assembly reflector.
Where I live it's easy to spot them on any highway. I wish there was a crackdown on them.
But I know it's a complicated subject. How can a Police Officer easily test and ticket crappy Lo Bean Patterns?

I'm looking at trying the H11 HIDs. There are several options, including temperature range and ballast power.

    I think I'm going:
    50w ballast
    5500k bulbs
    Hd relay
    Anti-flicker

Stop blacking out ur headlights... Im about to rip mine off to do the same... lol, it looks way better on the 2012-2015 LED`s then the 2009-2011 LED`s tho... So thats a problem... Is there anyone here who has blacked out 2009-2011 LED headlights? Im just really wondering how it would look...

Let me know how the ride is with those. I have Tien shocks on the car and feel like upgrading to these might give me a better less bumpy ride

Nice! IDK why but I couldn't find any other shock compatible for mine, other than the KYB sport shocks.. Which I like!

I like them, not as floaty as original but not to stiff either
