Water pump replacement

    Looking to replace the water pump for the engine, part number 161A0-29015. The dealer price is $500 and up. I read in the other threads that Aisin WPT-190 is a good alternative, it's around $250. I see on ebay and amazon, original Toyota water pumps for the same price as the Aisin, how can we tell if they are really original?

    The Aisin pumps, at least for this application, are the same as the dealer pumps. They will say Aisin but the Toyota mark is ground off.

    The sellers from Japan are about $100 lower vs the North American sellers. Takes 1-2 weeks to ship

    Yes, I know, but I needed to change it urgently. I live in Costa Rica, and the Japan's delivery take 6 weeks
