Do you Still use halogens for the highbeams? Are the LED bulbs you used for the low beams the same for the highbeams? Been wanting to do an LED upgrade!

I want to do the led headlights as well. Is it a must to change out the stock headlight housing?

Hey, I've got the Thule rapid traverse foot kit with the Thule aeroblades. Im not sure if it will fir with a solar roof. Might be a different set of rubber feet but it looks like it should fit tho. You can go on the site and select the 'fit my car' part and find what you need. then check out craigslist or here for someone selling it. I got mine for 200 off of CL. Works great!

Not sure if you have the same setup as me James, but I have the Thule rapid traverse 1566 fit kit, Thule 480R foot packs, and Thule ARB53 crossbars. @zyrtek69, I have solar roof on my Prius and this setup works fine with it. I use this setup along with the Thule pull top snowboard racks.

I know this is a few months old but thought I'd try to answer.
I have LED lowbeams but still use halogen for high beams. I might look into LED if mine burn out but I think halogens might be better for high beams.

I have slowly been converting to fully LED. I have tried a bunch of LED lights for lowbeams and done a lot of research in it. I found out you want to get a LED light where the diode is small and close to the middle of the light. basically headlights are designed around the placement of the light source. so in cars that ship with halogen the light emitter is in the center of the bulb. now that technology has advanced our led lights can be much thinner. I got the Hikari lights off of amazon. The light output is great and the cutoff line is very sharp so If I angle them far enough down I won't blind oncoming traffic and still be able to see where I am going. I recommend watching Headlight revolution channel. These guys will recommend certain products from their shop so they are a little biased but their info is really good.
