So this past weekend I went to the annual Camarillo Air Show, and it was very nice- lot's of fun, and lot's of Prii were to be seen!

My new avatar is my Prius under the wing of my grandpa's Cessna. I had taken many different angles, and got some GREAT shots, but then I left my digital camera in the car, and I guess the heat wiped out my memory card! I have had this happen once before- and I was so sad! I knew the members of priuschat would have loved them!

Luckily my grandma took a couple with her camera, so here is one for you folks :D

revision- I tried to upload a larger version, but pc wont let me, so hope you enjoy the new avatar :)

Thre are plenty of websites out there that let you share photo's for free... you could try finding one of them and uploading it there, then linking here!

i'd give you the name of a site, but i always just stick pics on the webserver i have sitting at home...

Car heat, or any high temperature is also not good for a motorized digital camera lens. I found out the hard way, leaving our then new camera in the center console. Luckily it was repaired under warranty.

when i was doing modeling.. iheard that if you don't reformat after every use, a similar effect can happen when it sits. I have never had this issue, but many i've worked with have. I wouldn't say it's the heat.. that's a little strange.. maybe it is a format issue?

i still never re format my cards :)
