    Haha thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like I should take the $100 offer I got yesterday then.

    Sorry not too familiar with Prius stuff. I bought the prius as an interim 3rd car and only owned it for 1 year before I sold it and made a profit.

    If you can manage to get the useless tires off it'll be more attractive, especially if you opt to ship. And for chrisakes clean up those wheel covers, lol.

    I really think that Toyota's intent was to make them look like steelies: this black-painted-alloys nonsense commenced in 2012, I guess when they saw so many owners taking off the wheel covers? So they tried to ugly-them-up a bit more.

    Actually painted black alloys are a thing now. Take a look at the Range Rover Sport or the 2019 RAV4 XSE Hybrid.

    It’s not worth paying to remove the tires imo and not worth the hassle shipping for something like this. I swapped on 17” persona wheels since the tires were balding when I bought the car. Wheels and tires have sat outside for like 9 month so I know they don’t rust, but tires are starting to crack.

    Not a Prius officianado but not a car newbie. Mainly into BMWs. Built the first US BMW E91 M3 with full interior swap and S65 engine, have an N54 swapped 6MT WTCC E91, and also have an F31 M sport wagon. I had the Prius just as something cheap to drive while I finished the engine swap.

    I figured I’d list the factory 15” wheels because it’s taking up space and worthless to me before I throw them away lol. I liked the Prius for what it was though, a great affordable and easy drive, but it was pretty mind numbing to drive. It was funny being mistaken for an Uber all the time though!

    Yeah we've been hailed, especially driving downtown, lol.

    Someone was trying to sell a set of 15" rims a year or two back, was having a hard time at rock bottom price IIRC. Yeah maybe you can get the tires off the rims yourself? It's not that easy, never done it myself. I agree, local pick-up as-is is your best bet.

    Didn't seem too hard to sell honestly. I knew $200 was too high but knew I'd get lowballed. I got a craiglist offer for $100 pickup within a few hours of posting. 50% off asking price, 100% more than what I thought I'd get LOL!

    Glad you got 'em sold.

    Just for future info, it's not that hard to remove tires if you have a couple tire irons and a roughly 4-6 foot long 2X12. Lay the wheel down flat, put one end of the board on the tire near but not touching the rim, and drive your car up onto the board to break the bead. Flip it over & repeat for the other bead. Then you can spoon it off with the tire irons. Ruglyde or soapy water will make it easier to slip the tire over the rim.
