    It’s the on/off switch for the Solar Panel Ventilation System. Depress to turn it on (depress before shutting off the car). After 10 mins, the fan will run either continuously or intermittently depending on outside temperature and solar insolation.

    You should read your owner's manual. There's lots of useful information in there. The solar vent is a major feature of the solar roof model and if you didn't know about it, there's probably other features you aren't aware of. Reading the manual, even on cars I think I'm familiar with, is the first thing I do anytime I take ownership.

    I kinda like it when people ask their questions here. I can lurk and occasionally I find a new tidbit that I can learn from. I even went over the owners manual and still missed a few items might not have been relevant to me when I went over it.

    It's one of those buttons where I set it and forget it. I like that feature in the summer. Yes, the cabin will get hot but it is not as bad as a car without this feature.
