62.1 !!

Very impressive! I've had my 2006 since July 19, and my best tank to date is 51.5 MPG.

 

I didn't know this feat was that special. I just filled up this morning at 62.9, and my last three tanks have all been over 62.5. For the 10 miles I traveled from the gas station to work - about half way - my FE is 71.2. It'll go down on the way home.

It kind of looks like you're getting the fabled secondary break in at 20,000 miles. Either that, or rolling nude has lowered the overall weight of the vehicle, thereby improving mileage. :lol:

 

I'm sitting at 61.4 on about 530 miles for this tank. It's by far my personal best, and that is my mfd reading so the actual mpg is probably 59ish.

I credit it to having changed the air filter on Sunday. I've never finished a tank with my mfd over 58, so this is new and exciting.

Just turned 22,000 miles on the car.

Maybe he dropped some Viagra in his tank. Actually, it would be a priupism, wouldn't it? (I tried "priuspism," but that doesn't roll off the tongue very easily.)

Given the lack of responses to your question, my guess is that many don't know what a priapism is!
