Prius 4's are buttugly indeed. and shorter, which would seem to mean less interior head room, though i haven't been inside one.

2011 Prius III (purchased new March 2011)
236,500 miles (Mainly highway at 65-70 mph in So Cal). Yeah, I'm the slow guy.
Doesn't burn oil - oil/filter change every 5000 miles with Mobil 1, 5W-20 synthetic and Toyota filter
Replaced spark plugs at 100,000 and 210,000
Cleaned EGR components/intake manifold/etc. at 130,000 and added the all important OCC (oil catch can). That effort saved the life of this Prius. (A hearty "Thank You" for all the write ups and how to's)
Replaced tranny fluid with Toyota WS at 5000 and every 50,000 thereafter
    Air filters every 15,000.
    Coolants every 75,000.
Replaced water pump and thermostat at 210,000 as a preventative measure
Original brakes - lubed slide pins and replaced brake fluid every 50,000
Still on my second set of tires. Tires rotated every 5000. The original Yokohama's lasted 105,000. They were slicks at time of replacement. The Michelin Energy Savers now have 136,500 miles on them and have a ways to get to the wear bars.
New 12V battery at 145,000. (preventative)

EVERY tank at 50+ mpg (calculated) since new. It has been a great car and I'll keep driving it until Cybertruck delivery. That's the plan.

217K miles. Car is perfect. Nothing has ever failed except tire wear and other consumables (filters, etc.). Just regular service. Still on factory brakes.

2010 Toyota, no major work done until 217k
Cleaned EGR, intake etc, used a head-gasket sealer for cylinder 1 miss fire. running strong :-D
On my first tank of gas sense, 38 mpg and climbing

Bought my 2010 Prius With 115K miles from original owner in March 2019. One of the first Gen 3’s made, VIN ends in 0001273! Documented oil/filter changes every 4-5000 miles since new, 0W-20 synthetic. Traction battery replaced under warranty in 2016. Brake booster assy as well.

Right away I changed spark plugs (with original spec), trans fluid, inverter fluid, radiator fluid. Air filter, cabin filter, all 3 wipers.

Gradually got a lot of other stuff done, firm believer in preventative maintenance and not getting stuck somewhere.

-new EGR valve, EGR pipe, EGR cooler, PCV valve, new updated intake manifold, oil catch can
-new struts/shocks, sway bar struts, rotors, brake pads (original pads could have gone a couple more months).
-new Michelin tires, replacing Goodyear. Wheel alignment.
    -Replaced water pump.

Currently at 157K, does not use oil, coolant level steady. Get 44 mpg with lots of hills, up to 52 mpg if running on flat ground. Car runs pretty good and rides pretty good!
