I cant find anything on here so ill ask.. its been happening recently in my 2004 prius. But when ever i turn off the car all the power dies. So i go to the trunk from the rear passenger seat and when i touch the white connector thats on the positive terminal fuse link or just tap it all the power comes on again.. is there something i should replace. Or could it be something that needs to be tightened.. tia

Quick stuff first - is that connector plugged in all the way? Squeeze it, pull it out, push it all in 'til the solid click?

Not an ideal connection to have loose....

I agree with the second comment, push in the release take the connector all the way out and push it all the way back in until you hear is solid click. That one is a bit of a pain to get off and on and it's possible that someone previously didn't get it reconnected completely.

Yea i just did it right now. Removed it. And bent the locking part a little so its more secure.. plugged it in and heard a click.. will do more testing.. also i did not put the red cover on just incase all power goes off. Thats safe to do right.

I don’t think there is anything metal above the terminal so you should be fine.

Yea. I never fully got the unlock function to work on the spare emergency key i set up. So ive been using the old one.. but i recently changed the whole positive connector hopefull that will fix the problem
