Has anyone received their magic purple HOV sticker yet?

    I mailed mine in on the 2nd (from Hawaii, actually). It probably arrived at the DMV on the 4th. They didn't process the check until Feb. 8th (that was the date it was stamped at the DMV). I think it was cashed on the 12th. Still no stickers - maybe today.

    I called them last week..some lady who was curt just said takes 60 days...call me back on march 15 if you do not have them yet.

    Has ANYONE who submitted their CA HOV application after January 1st received their stickers yet? DMV cashed my check exactly 2 weeks ago and still nothing.

    I figure the DMV has some poor schmuck printing out decals with a $50 inkjet (before rebate) and another one running to Office Depot for ink cartridge refills. What a joke. :mad:

    I mailed mine on the 2nd in sacramento, they cashed the check yesterday, and I got my stickers in the mail today.

    The California DMV is under severe criticism in lots of areas. And now they say that they are going broke (fees are not covering expenses), so cuts will have to be made :rolleyes:

    I called a number given to me by the main DMV contact number for HOV sticker information. After a few hours waiting for a call back, they told me that my check was processed on Feb. 8th and cashed on Feb. 12th. BUT there is no way to determine if they were sent out or when or if that happened.

    I was informed that I need to wait until 1 month after they processed my check to request replacement stickers. I'm still hoping that they will arrive today, but if I don't see them I'm sending in the sticker app early. Probably have to wait another fr**ng month or more for the replacement stickers.

    Just checked my mailbox and lo and behold the stickers were there!

    The best I can conclude is that the DMV appears to be releasing the new HOV stickers in batches. When the DMV cashes your check does not correlate to when you will receive your sticker.

    The DMV cashed my check over two weeks ago and a friend of mine who just had her check cashed 2 days ago got her sticker on the same day as I did.

    The DMV is out of control..my wife got to drive in the HOV lane for the first time today...hope you enjoy your drive...
