Can a Gen 2 Prius pass smog with a bad hybrid battery?

    So the battery light comes on, and i'm wondering can it pass smog for a quick as is sale for someone else to fix the battery? Thanks

    I believe the only systems that can be “incomplete” are the evap systems;).

    But @Joele3 knows for sure(y).

    As long as the Check engine light isn't on. Evap monitor is the only one that can be incomplete. Any other warning lights won't affect smog.

    The best way to get this answered would be to go to a smog shop and ask.

    Here you just don’t get to see him in his element;).
