    What a find. the chrome one that I have and plasti-coated black does not hold up well to dog toenails and golf club heads. I bought one of these.

    By the way I bought this before so every time I bought something with double sided tape I use this one instead, even the visor on my windows I use this 3m tape and throw away the one that it came with. But I always heat it up with hair blow dryer for proper adhesion.

    I got my $5.00 bumper guard in the mail. Good quality rubber. laid it flat in the sun to get it to lay flat - and then installed it. Only issue is that it overhangs (too wide by .25 on an inch) the surface for a few inches right in the center. I am happy none-the-less.

    Just a HEADS UP! DONT INSTALL THIS GUARD! it creates bubbles beneath it and discolors the car.
    My bumper paint is damaged beyond repair because water accumulated beneath the guard even though I used 3m automotive adhesive and applied it on the four sides of the guard and still got damaged:
    Look at the product reviews here
    and look for the guy with the bubbles, exactly this thing happened to me.
    again this is from personal experience, and since I found it here I just wanted to give a heads up

    My plan, and I've already bought it in the appropriate color, is automotive vinyl wrap. Just haven't got around to installing it yet.
