I have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid I would like to refurbish my battery pack my self. cleaning the fan cooler motor etc...

I want to clean up the bus bars etc...

it only has 84,200 miles (I bought it at 84,057)on it but it still has AGE ware/tear and maintenance is key to a long life battery pack...
according to sources the battery pack is similar to a prius pack

OR Should i not touch it and take it for dealer servicing ? Do I really have 15/150k warranty ??
    This is 100% California car
NEVER been registered out of state.. i'm the 3rd owner..

another funny thing is I took it to AutoZone they tried selling me a belt for my A/C when my A/C runs off of electrical only 300-VAC compressor..
    LOL
I kinda feel the people at the dealer will not know what they are doing and damaging it.. leading to costly repairs..

The battery is like Prius, 28 modules for Prius G2, while 40 modules for Tahoe.
If anything failed, you could check the error code shows in car, then you could check it online to find the exactly problem.
I don't think it is a good idea to renew battery if you don't have professional tool.
