Just got my oil analysis report on my 100k mile Hymotion Plug-In Prius. Yeah its been a while since I had my oil tested. I figured it did well the first 50k miles I'll just wait until my 100k mile change.

Anyway the oil still looks good at 100k miles on the engine and 10k on the oil. I'm going to keep changing at 10k miles.

Never used any other type of oil. Always Mobil1 0w20 with a Mobil1 oil filter.

Just for future reference I asked about why the magnesium shot WAY up since my last reports and they said Mobil1 added a bunch of detergent to their oil since I last tested. Nothing to worry about.

I think your report supports the concept of the 10,000 mile oil change. We began doing the 10,000 change interval in 2013 for our 2008 Prius and 2004 Sienna. We use Synthetic 5W-30 in both vehicles. We use only Wal Mart Super Tech brand oil and the Mobile 1 extended interval filter. Years ago we only used Mobile 1 Synthetic oil but as I became more cost conscious we switched to the Super Tech brand saving $10 to $15 dollars per 5 quart jug over Mobile 1. The 10,000 mile change interval has resulted in quite a savings for our family and eliminated unnecessary oil changes. I do all our car work and appreciate the 10,000 mile change interval. Thank You for posting your test results.
