If you totaled your Prius....

    Well I didn’t buy a Gen 4 Prime after I replaced my gen 2. But here is what I can suggest. At year end in 2017 as well as 2018 the dealers in the east in NJ and NY had huge incentives on the Prius Prime. There was $5000 factory Toyota rebate, the $4500 federal tax credit as well as a dealer discount (I got $2000). So I’d buy a Prime again and drive it home to my state. A new Prime for $11,500 off MSRP. I’m thinking I may sell my Prime next summer and go for it again as the ‘19’s go on clearance if they have the rebates again.

    I would probably try out a Prime, or maybe the AWD-e version.
