    I think @The Critic is correct on this one. Only two free oil changes by Toyota Care. I think you can ask them to perform at 5k and 15k instead, but then you would have to pay for it at 25k.

    The OCI is still 1 year/10,000 even though there are 6 months/5,000 mile service checkups.

    This is currently in my engine. It has a very high moly content (600ppm+) and is supposed to be identical to the Genuine Mazda High Moly 0w-20.

    But it has a poor Noack volatility (14%) and the viscosity index is high due to heavy usage of PMA based VIIs. So not good for oil control rings either.

    Compromises...

    Great choice, what’s the zinc ppm? I’m sticking to redline but will go 5w-20 next time, the zinc is about 1,200 ppm measured by blackstone from the tap.

    It is comparable to any licensed API SN oil so I doubt it is more than 800 ppm.

    I am not particularly drawn to High Zinc oils because our engine design does not truly need it. If anything, I prefer oils with a lower sulphated ash content.
