Thank you everyone for the replies. I ended up just going to the dealership and getting their long life coolant. I will check out the Zerex(Valvoline) coolant next time around. Thanks again!

 

I went to the dealer to get 2 gallons of the pink toyota super long life coolant and they wanted $37/gal. Luckily I looked it up on Toyota's website and it was $22.76. And that's what the dealer charged me. Toyota dealers are always soooo expensive but they know it and will be flexible.

 

I purchased a 4 liter bottle of Toyota Super Long Life coolant (55% mix, in Canada), through our nearby dealership, in 2015, for $19.14 CDN.

 

Not all of them. Mine is very reasonable. In fact, often the cheapest option.

 

I just use this stuff. It is $11-$13/gal. CCI mfg makes the product. Per a semi-recent MSDS, Toyota Super Long Life Pink was supplied by CCI. I cannot guarantee that the formulations are exactly the same, but for an older out-of-warranty car, it is better than using Universal Coolant.
