Your right the search engine works fine. You as an admin/mod could have removed the offending remarks/posts as you have done in other far worse posts such as the one about Ann Coulter, which contained sexually violent remarks but for whatever reason have chosen not to with this topic which means it is still not open for further discussion. That is censorship pure and simple if you don't believe so please let us all know what your criteria is.

Once again when an administrator of a forum makes comments of the type you have, it inevitably carries more weight than from the average poster. In addition to that comment your political persuasion comes from the left and therefore bears down even more. So when you call someone from the opposite political persuasion (I'm actually and independent) else’s post asinine or stupid it discourages and unfettered discussion and others from joining in. If you can’t see that then maybe you shouldn’t be a moderator although I don’t know who else would want that thankless and tough job. Except prehaps for the big bucks you get. Sarcasm, BTW, and I respect and am thankful that you do it. I just don’t like this instance of your work.

You’re making an assumption here when you know little about my intent. Furthermore you are stating it as fact. I didn’t call for simple answers any answer will do but I don’t see a whole lot being offered and the ones that have been offered are simple and quite thought provoking (hobbits, glenhead and alric) for instance. Furthermore, I am not that naive to think I can get an answer from anyone on this board that only agrees with my POV, in fact the whole point of this topic is to solicit other POV's. I don't know if you have ever met TonyPSchaefer, you live in MO and he lives in IL, but you seem to be able to tell when he makes sarcastic remarks. At least that is what you posted some time today. My poll is positively dripping with sarcasm and yet you and at least one other here completely miss it, for whatever reason. I can only assume that you are familiar with my position on the political spectrum and don't like the fact that I am bringing up a point of some controversy that reflects badly on your party/position of choice. Not to mention the fact that it makes the constant critics look a bit disingenuous when they can’t articulate a reasoned method to address the terrorist threat. Others on this board have seen what I am saying and posted some good replies. Is it so difficult to follow suit rather than trying to heap scorn on a posters position in an effort to limit responses to a subject you may find not compatiable with your own? When has it become a policy on PC for the admin’s/mod’s to make derogratory or belittling personal comments about someone’s post that is not up to their personal tastes or standards? If you must do so then make up another username and do it anonymously.

Since when does a person’s topic/post on PC have to pass the scrutiny of a moderator’s opinion when it does not violate the rules of the board? I thought that was the beauty and function of FHOP? Are personal attacks forbidden on FHOP? If so you have a lot of editing to do tonight unless you want to appear biased toward a certain POV which IMO and many others is poor form for a moderator on any board. You have seen my record as far as “Personal Attacks†when unjustified I have apologized (several occasions if my memory serves me) I’m not a bit sorry you don’t like my “in kind†replies to personal attacks against me. They are not a whole lot different than yours.

Me thinks you protest too much or see the weakness of your position and are grasping at straws now to justify/spin your case. I can’t provide for or affect your or anyone else’s reasoned discussion on this board. I don't think I should try and I don't think you should try until that post has actually been posted. Reasoned discussioon is up to you or the person replying. Suffice to say that I ask a question you respond however you want, ahh the beauty of FHOP a bit less functional now. Why do you think a reasoned discussion can't be had with the question "What is your solution to terrorism" I am baffled by this asseration of yours.

Please list the criteria as posted or is this your personal and undisclosed criteria you pull out to suppress discussion that you may not personally want on your board? Likewise compare my topic post to your criteria and tell me what part is considered a Flame? Man this topic obviously touched a sensitive spot if you are this intent on trying to quash or limit it in some way! Which seems like a silly thing to do as it draws in all kinds of posters and activity to your board. Which if I may observe is the life blood of web sites such as this.

Your not just a member you are a moderator/admin. No flames have been posted as of the time of your post (the 2nd post) that reasoning adults can’t handle even though some 30 odd posts have now accumulated. Are you taking the position that you have the ability and right to pass judgment beforehand on a topic that conforms to the rules of the forum and make acerbic demeaning comments on it before any discussion is entered into or flame posted? If that isn’t censorship I don’t know what is and IMO is poor form for a moderator. Unless it is your intent to limit discussion to topics that conform to your tastes and POV only. I mean WOW how many flames and what type were you expecting out of the question “What is your solution for terrorism.†With a clearly comical list of solutions that positively dripped sarcasm? Once again if you feel compelled then assume another identity and post anonymously. It’s the only fair thing to do. But perhaps as I have just recently found fairness is one of those undisclosed criteria that need not be adhered too.

Awww not going to lose any sleep, I’m surprised that with your precognitive vision you didn’t see and accuse/assume that was my intent also. FWIW I will also call down on the Mods/Admins when they are acting like extremist or just plain Asshats, which in this case you are perilously close to doing.
