Has anybody had to replace their ODO/Trip button? The one next to the KMH/MPH button in the center of the dash? Mine is stuck down and just flops around. I'm wondering if anybody replaced it and how much of the dash had to come out to replace it.

    Thanks,
    dave

How much of the dash: Remove the vent on the far left. Remove the black plastic panel below the steering column. Remove the black plastic panel above the steering column. Remove the vent on the left of the MFD. Remove the bottom glove box. Remove the upper glove box. Remove the vent to the right of the MFD. Now you can remove the MFD and the switches below it.

Thanks Patrick. I guess I'll look to order a new button and save it for when I've got a free day I don't know what to do with. Or I'm guessing that all of that stuff has to come off to replace the combo meter which I need to do as well. Might as well save it for the same repair.

Yes, to remove the combination meter, you would do all of the above. You would also remove the A pillar trim covering the front side SRS airbags. Then you also have to disconnect the passenger SRS airbag and the wiring harness connections for the CM so that you can remove the large black plastic dashboard panel.

Thanks for the info. I also looked up the ODO/Trip button, and it looks like it is a 3 piece button for the Hazards/ODO Trip and KM/h MPH button. Nothing can be easy or cheap. Argh!
