Red Triangle DTC's

    2004 UK Prius 138,000 miles

    Driving along today and got the red triangle.
    Codes read by breakdown guy was
    Misfire but he couldn't connect to see what cylinder.
    He cleared codes and off went...
    Now the light came on again... Have read code using techstream.

    P0340
    P0A90-239

    Any reason for the codes being different?

    I've no idea what the reader was, small gray and red. Small screen handheld device.
    Codes were P0301, p0302, p0303, p0304

    Car was still running fine when he checked. No noticeable misfire at the time.

    stick with tech stream, and search online for the service manual. it will have code meanings and trouble shooting

    Codes were cleared and today I've just had the red triangle
    Code P0343-601

    Why does it keep throwing different codes?

    Am having new spark plugs fitted tomorrow, don't know if that'll have any impact.

    P0A90/239 is the latest code to appear.
    All other codes have been cleared.
