More reason to find a way to EV wireless charging.

Very brave. I wonder how long that cord stayed functional. On Boston south end, you would be lucky if you can find a parking spot anywhere, let alone close enough to reach the outlet.

We do have members that own the Clarity;).

I think it’s reasonable to make clear to every (PH)EV owner that this sort of thing is a really bad idea... That’s obvious to me, but apparently not to everybody!

    True @mr88cet
I wonder how long the owner of that Clarity had a charging cable after putting out a tripping hazard.

Well, with Clarity full charge from empty on L1 takes 12 hours. But talking about "tripping hazard" on Boston sidewalks, the cord is nothing compared to the naturally occurring permanent tripping hazards everywhere. If you have walked on any of the Boston city sidewalks, you'll know what I mean. ;)

Wireless would require tearing up the sidewalk and pavement to install, plus extra equipment on the car.
A street side charge would just tear up the sidewalk, if using the street light circuit wasn't an option, and be more efficient than wireless.

...or just make sure your property/parking provides for plug-ins...before you buy one.

They just renamed it the Yaris sedan. Still a Mazda2.
