I have a Gen 3 with cross connected washer controls. --Activate front washer: front wipers activate and rear washer sprays. --Activate rear washer: rear wiper activates and front washer sprays. Otherwise function is normal. Where do I look for the cross connection?
how old is it, how long have you owned it? did it come from the factory like that, or did someone repair something?
It's a 2010. It belonged to my elderly parents so I don't have all the details on that purchase, but I am pretty sure it was purchased used form the dealer some years ago. I'd take it to that dealer if we still lived there. My mom says thinks it was like that when they got it, but I can't be sure.
Not a big deal. Find the washer tubes and switch them. You have the back going to the pump for the front and the front going into the pump for the back. Not even an electrical issue.
Thanks. Sounds like a 30 sec fix once I get to it. I see were it is and can feel the hoses and their connections.
Your problem's nothing! I once took a front bumper off a car, got it all back on (some of the electrical connections barely reached...), went for a drive, signalled a left turn, and the wiper fluid sporadically squirted...
