My car is not a plug-in. I do not use AC, always on Eco Mode, never use cruise control, plan my route to take advantage of battery by driving <41 MPH as much as possible, and I replace engine filter once a year.

It’s real. Part of my commute goes onto a flat 20 mile stretch country road @ 41-43 mph which yields 75-80 mpg live real time readout on 2 sources. But I took everything but the spare tires & tools from the back out

But the only real way to prove it for sure is images of the hsi readout and the # of gallons filled up at pump after the drive.

I am not as fortunate to have country roads. My drivings are all city with 50% freeway. I usually get skip several on ramps and get off several off ramps early if I have battery. I tried to completely use city streets but PG got worse due to many traffic light stop and go's.

Here is my latest tank. Fulled 10.6 gallons, with up to 10% ethenol. 20190520_191215.jpg 20190520_191831_HDR.jpg

That's pretty amazing. Even if it were a full tank.

It’s pretty much impossible for me to get results like delayflight. At best my average trip like the one below 62mpg.

Summer is here. I archived my personal best. I had a low tire pressure indicator early in the tank. Pumped tires to Toyota recommended 35 psi front and 33 psi back. I instantly got better MPG.

    Good job!
(Still no joy here as SWMBO doesn’t like the idea of driving around 32 straight hours at a steady 25 mph!)

Hint, I did mine over multiple days in my 2010. Yeah you have the warm up penalty but that just makes a bigger challenge. :D
