I replaced my rear wiper arm with a 2004 Sienna rear wiper. Thanks for the idea. The straight arm design allows a wipe closer to the bottom of the window without touching the spoiler. The rear Sienna blade is 14 inch , but the 16 inch Prius blade fits fine , since the attachment is the same. 20190519_122707.jpg 20190519_122330.jpg

This is how bad the original Prius wiper arm works, not going to the bottom of the window. 20190519_063510.jpg

On my last car I put in the longest blade that would fit. I just measured how much space was untouched past the end of the blade and got a replacement blade that was that much longer. If you go too long it will hit the painted metal past the edge of the glass and begin to scratch the paint.

What was the size 19” or what?

I have a vague idea that I swapped out the stock 17"(?) blade for a 19"(?) but it's been to long to really recall. The difference on the window was small.

Seems to me that we have a choice: wipe all the way to the left but not all the way to the bottom (with the original wiper arm), or wipe all the way to the bottom but not all the way to the left (with the Sienna arm).

True , the Prius wiper parks to the left more,in an effort to keep it out of view. The Sienna wiper doesn't park that far to the left , but it doesn't block much vision anyway. I still like how it wipes to the bottom better than the Prius wiper.
