Looking For skilled DIY Prius owners that live in Southern CALIFORNIA. NO repair shops.

    I want to hire someone from time to time that can perform basic to semi-moderate maintenance on my Prius. I’ve about had it with these Toyota techs. It’s one thing if you charge an harm and a leg, and do a good job, but I just found out that they suggested a replacement on something that didn’t need to be replaced. I want someone that does repairs on their own Prius and is aquatinted with the dynamics of the vehicle. If you are familiar with anyone on or off this forum that is in the Southern California area, please let me know.

    Have you tried some of the independent shops like @Avi's Advanced Automotive or Hybrid Pit?

    They seem to be good places to go to get stuff done without getting the unnecessary things done.

    Olive Auto Center in Burbank is a very trustworthy car shop. I've gone to them for a lot of my service needs for years, always great work and decent pricing.

    Avi apparently moved so here's his updated information. He's the most knowledgeable about Prius and is so honest. He runs circles around what any Toyota dealer can do. Tired of going to dealers and being over charged for things that they don't fix or doesn't need repaired.
