Sounds like new cars these days...

Maybe in a few years, we'll look back on this, as the "dreck era", lol.

Oh hey: say you've got a pair of Windows 10 computers, side-by-side in a straightforward home network: good luck with being able to access the hard drive of one from the other. It is insanely byzantine; it fought me to a virtual standstill, lol.

Hmmm - I did have 2 Win10, but one died (7yr old LENOVO - was a great computer till then, better than the DELL which replaced it, but the screen died on the LENOVO). But - I've still got an old ASUS Vista machine in the back room, acts as a Print/Scan server and for downloading PODCASTS - the sound is so much better than the DELL.

But - no, can't run the HDD - but can save/transfer to/from the HDD of the ASUS (Vista) from the DELL (Win10). But not vice-versa.

Though it is wildly off-topic at this point, I have to ask: how can you have >1 current computers in your household, and NOT have a NAS? That just seems wrong.

(And on the original topic, since I replaced my rear seat with a flat deck which sits several inches above the surrounding plastic, I've never heard the battery fan even spinning, and I purposely run the battery as hard as it will let me... Come to think of it, I never heard the fan before removing the seat, either... Maybe the heat is more a NIMH thing than a Li-Po thing?)
