Does Toyota considers both the Standard Prius and the Plugin Prius (1st Generation) the same in terms of accessories and parts availability?

Just planning to do interior upgrade or add options on my 2014 Plugin Prius. She is kind of oldie but still goldie. :)

I'll do the interior (for comfort) since exterior is pretty much prone to scratches, dings, dents because... some other drivers or pedestrians just don't care about a scratching other people's parked car.

i think there are some differences and some similarities. for instance, the hatch area is a slightly different shape, iirc.

Floor mats are different for plug-in but the standard Prius mats will fit. Seats are the same. Plastic trim is all the same.

    What are you replacing?

FYI: Gen 1 PHEV (2012 - 2015) was based on Gen 3 Prius refresh.

I had the WeatherTech floor liners for all seats areas and trunk etc. Looking for some good heavy duty(preferably cotton) seat covers.

Planning on getting the retractable cargo cover to hide all my junk at the back of the car.

Then, seat covers. Some vendors on car seats covers only list Prius as the model not Plugin.

    Thanks for that information.

Is the retractable cargo cover the same for Standard Gen3 and Plugin Prius Gen1?

Did you just get the car? The person you bought it from should have the cargo cover. It's standard equipment.

If not, Toyota is kind of proud of them. I think they are $75-150 even on Ebay last time I looked.
