I thought someone posted something about getting Leather (or Naugahyde) arm-rest covers, but I can't find the post. Of course, I'm asking just after spilling orange juice on the cloth center console this morning, which makes for a great stain after sitting all day.

I'd like to have all the cloth arm-rests replaced with something a bit more forgiving to my mobile culinary habits.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

I have an 05 with leather and it was done by an installer the dealer uses. In addition to leather on the seats, all the arm rests are leather as well. I would suggest finding an installer and having them take care of just the arm rests.

I got mine put on by the dealer, but others have ordered from Ebay at Prius Hoods. You can go to the store there and see if available. The stuff she sells there is top notch- I've ordered quite a few things from her.

Interesting - and I have a friend who does convertible tops and car upholstery who could probably do it for me - never even crossed my mind to ask him - because I'm not into replacing the cloth on the seats!

I'll ask him and let you all know how it works out....THANKS!

Try a damp cloth you will find the material is quite forgiving. Robin's leather arm rest covers are great and available on eBay.

I haven't done the doors yet, because it's going to require some tearing apart, but I did wrap the center console. Go to your local fabric store, and buy some high quality vinyl (or leather if you prefer). The entire center console comes apart, and you can leather wrap it yourself with some spray on adhesive. I needed a little more padding on there, so I put a 1/2 inch pad underneath as well. Looks like stock, and cost me $30. I stil have enough material to do the four doors too. That will be a rainy day project.

    JTT,

I would love to see how your center console came out! Can you post a picture?
