I have my 6 hours trip for vacations and on my 4th hour driving we decide to stop to eat something. About 2 hours later when I started my Prius 2016 three touring present me this warning messages: Pre-Collision System Malfunction, Headlight System Malfunction, Forward Camera System Unavailable, Lane Departure Alert Malfunction, below this messages says Visit your Dealer. Reading on this forum I was waiting for the messages disappear after some days or after 300 miles but this happened on Saturday July 6th and today July 13th I’m back from vacations and I still have this messages after 700 miles driving. Any ideas of what to do or how to reset this or anything that could help?
I cleaned the Emblem and windshield with no cracks and clean. Thank you all.

You (or a dealer or an independent shop) should use the Health Check feature of a Toyota Techstream diagnostic system to retrieve the stored diagnostic trouble codes, and then use the procedure for each code in the Repair Manual (more info) to continue troubleshooting. Note that you do need Techstream or a true third-party equivalent; inexpensive OBD II scan tools intended for engine and emissions diagnosis generally can’t communicate with the computers involved.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the problem is with the forward recognition camera—the one looks through the windshield—or its wiring. I wouldn’t replace or recalibrate the camera (see previous thread), however, without more investigation, in case there is another cause, such as a loose connector or damaged wire harness.

In the (almost) 2 years Ive had my prime ive gotten the forward camera and collision warnings before (not at the same time.) The collision was the parking sensors on the front was dirty with a little bit of mud. The camera was a bug splat on the camera area; like it couldn't focus on the road with a blur in the corner of the image.

It could be one "simple" item - seemingly unrelated. As mentioned above, get the codes read - the dealer can do that.

I had about 8 or 10 flash up after each other soon after I got Samantha. I wasn't close to the dealership, so turned POWER off, back on - never had a recurrence. Dealer plugged it in, and it turned out to be a single malfunction of the brake-light switch. That won't be your issue - but I had errors showing for gearshift, power switch, cruise control, AEB and other things - which used the brake pedal or system. Switch replaced under warranty.

Thank you, hopefully it’s something as simple as you said I will get the codes tomorrow. Thank you again

Not a guarantee of course but as as been said in other threads, sometimes disconnecting, waiting for a few minutes; then reconnecting the 12v Aux. battery (neg. terminal disconnect) will force a "cold reboot" of the computers and clear sometimes mysterious warnings. Can't hurt, and it doesn't take long.
