Does it work on 2019 Prime Plus?

Yes, it does. 2019 Prime has no major system changes, so it works exactly the same.

Any chance this works on the 2010 with Advanced Tech Package?

Not supported currently, but it might be possible to add support for it with some effort. Join the comma.ai discord community and see if anyone there can help you port openpilot to it. Advanced tech package includes lane keep assist and dynamic radar cruise control, right?

I have a '11 with ATP. It 'tries' to be an autopilot..bless its heart...:(
It has a camera built into the rear view mirror and a radar in the front emblem.
It does emergency braking and 2 modes of self-parking!
It was an expensive option on the top of the line Prius, back then.

I would love to add a system to make it a proper AP, but I can't put effort into making it work.
I need a plug and play. I'll be researching it. Thanks for the information!

Yup. Thought it would be a good candidate with those features already in it

I'm actually disappointed the LKA is much better on it than the Prime with only LDA. The Gen3 will hold a turn pretty well.

The Gen3 will lose the lines much quicker than the Prime so it only works under ideal conditions, but with OpenPilot I'd be adding another camera anyway

I'm really curious how well this system handles serious stop and go traffic with full stops. I've got a Gen 4 3 Touring and I spend a lot of time in the 405 traffic. Does this work better than the stock DRCC and keeping the follow distance? Stock DRCC always lets the car in front get too far away and is light on the acceleration. If this system does even mildly better at stop and go I will pick it up and give it a try.

Using openpilot is definitely superior to the stock Toyota system in stop and go traffic. openpilot longitudinal control (DRCC) does accelerate faster than the stock Toyota system and will keep up with other cars better.

comma.ai have also added features like slowing down for tight curves, and automatically following the speed limit based on map data.

With the official version of openpilot, you can't currently use the buttons to reduce the following distance and you still have to tap resume after coming to a complete stop. However, since it's opensource, community members have released their own versions that remove these two limitations as well. comma.ai releases updates roughly every month, so it will continue to improve as time goes on.

I have been using OpenPilot by Comma.ai for about 9 months in my 18 Prius Prime Advanced. Couldn't be happier with the solution as I spend a lot of time on the road driving 2 to 4 hours at a time.

Living in Atlanta I can attest that it handles stop and go traffic extremely well, but keep in mind that this is an Open Source project and you'll need to engage in the Discord group for support and questions. The group is very supportive and open to new participants.

For anyone on the fence, comma.ai is running a $50 off promo today only on their Twitter. New openpilot 0.6 update was just released and it's the best one yet. Really starting to see the AI get better thanks to all the drives uploaded by users.

The EON Devkit is showing $599 now. Is this a different model or have they just gone up $100?

Yes, price went up to $599 back in May. Prices are expected to continue to go up as openpilot gets better and demand increases.

This is very interesting and I will continue to follow. As others have mentioned, it would be nice if the factory cameras could be used instead an additional unit.

People on the comma.ai discord have it working on the 2020 Prime already. I imagine the supported car list will be updated soon. 2019 works too.

Factory cameras can't be used because they don't output video signals, only poor quality Toyota lane departure alert with steering assist signals.

Do I need to select both or just one?

You need both a Panda and a Giraffe along with the EON. The setup goes car->giraffe->panda->eon. Giraffe is just an adapter to allow the panda to tap into the car.
