My inverter coolant level is just above the MIN mark when the engine is "cold" (in a manner of speaking -- it's 90+ F today). Without actually starting the car and letting it warm up to see what happens -- will the level rise as the car is running, or would it be a good idea to top it up now?

From my years of prius ownership, I've yet notice any substantial fluctuation of coolant levels in different seasons or various engine temps so you should be fine adding more at anytime. To give you an idea of how I came to this conclusion, I check the crankcase dipstick every other day.
