Gen 2 HV Battery ECU Fault Codes Replacement Help

    Hi guys, long time reader, first post. Two separate mechanics, one being the dealer told me my battery was throwing faults and needs replacement, dealer said the ECU is bad too. I was hoping I could post the codes to confirm what I need to replace, and maybe you could tell me the best third party choices for replacement. The dealer quoted me way too much, obviously.

    P0420
    P0A78
    P3000
    P0A80
    P3014
    P3015

    They want to replace the HV battery, HV battery cooling fan filter, HV ECU and Cats. I don’t really care about cats, I just want confirmation that I do need those pets, and as I had said, reputable manufacturers of those parts outside of Toyota, if there is any.

    Replace or fix (if you can) HV battery first. Battery fault can result in inverter fault code when inverter itself is fine. Code P0420 can be result of something stupid like faulty collector gasket or basically hole between engine and CAT. I will be surprised if CAT itself is gone.
