Katzkin and side air bags

    Hey wise ones - I'm picking up my Prius tomorrow (finally - yay!) and am thinking about Katzkin leather mods to it. I went to their site and they explicitly only have the 'no side airbags' version. Meanwhile, I noticed the articles here I searched for indicate there is a Katzkin that is compatible with side air bags.

    I'm confused. What is the real story on Katzkin and side airbags? Can anyone offer a definitive answer?

    Can you provide the links to the Katzkin site you were looking at which explicitly says they only have the 'no side airbags' versions?

    And while you are at it, please provide links to the PriusChat articles which indicate there is a Katzkin that is compatible with side air bags.

    [We may be wise ones :huh: . . . but many of us are also lazy and/or not into guessing at what you may or may not have seen. We also tend to be wise enough to ask for clarification before chiming in . . . unless we are in full blown FHOP rant/rave mode. :p :lol: ]

    I have the Katzkin leather seats for side air bags. If you go to the Katzkin site, click on Products, then on 'Search for your interior', you can see they have 3 patterns for the Prius - 2004 seats with and without side air bags, and 2001 seats without side air bags. The 2004 seat patterns fit the 2006 Prius.

    I love my leather seats!

    Awesome! It was late at night and I should have looked closer :p Thanks for setting me straight.

    No Prius yet - darned sales guy is missing, and wants me to come in when it's convenient for him! Imagine the nerve of these Prius salespeople.
