I have '17 Prius with front radar but not with the parkin system. How nere the badge can I install the aux light without making any effect to the radar?

I got allready waiting slim bar-type light, under the plate i think it would be too low. Where I'm living we have long dark period and loads of animals on roads so good aux lights are more or less a must and i've had them on all my cars.

Radar modules can operate at anything from 360 degrees down to almost 0 degrees, depending on the antenna/dish system used, so without the specs of the module it's hard to be certain.

That being said, for automotive use in the context of cruise control, something like 45 degrees down to 20 degrees is much more likely. I would try and mount the lights as close to the outside of the vehicle as possible, without interfering with the headlight beam pattern. Temporarily attach your auxiliary lights using wire ties and something to protect your paintwork, and go for a drive with cruise control and see what happens.

If you get the lights too close to the module you'll know about it. I believe it'll throw an error code (there are some threads about dirty badges that have done so, I think), or not engage when you try to engage the dynamic range cruise control.

Yep, it it won't be big deal to make few tests. I think that i'll drop reg plate some much to get light above it.
