    I guess we'll find out eventually. Hyundais aren't the only ones.

    This electric scooter sure went up in near explosive Flames;

    Seems the real problem is we need more explosive flame out's like this, so they will become as ubiquitous as gasoline flame out's

    The Tesla fire in the post above, was at least temporarily/already resolved - as Tesla sent out an over-the-air charging fix - specifically for these older model X & Model S versions. From reading, the total charge amount was lowered - & that has some of these older Tesla owners' shorts all bunched up.
    Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software | Tesla Motors Club
    The frustration is, less total charge means less range available.

    Occasionally this type of thing (when inside a building) have a metal or brick enclosure around them that vents outside

    Far from it, there was virtually no explosive force. The flames were persistent, but not explosive. It didn’t even knock the vehicle around.
    If that had been in an airtight small room, pressure certainly may have built up, but out in the open, nothing.

    or - if it wasn't a battery just big enough for a little scooter, but instead - a small SUV? that's where I was going with that.

    I don’t think a larger battery would make any difference.
    Look at the scooter fire. It doesn’t even have the force to knock the driver off the scooter. The only reason it went down is that the driver laid it down in order to run from the fire.
