Purchased my Prius III new in August 2015. Last scheduled maintenance was in July 2017 when Toyota Care 2-year/24,000 maintenance expired. Up until last year (August 2018) it only had 20,000 miles.

For the last year I've been commuting 100 miles roundtrip so mileage is now at 43,000. Only maintenance has been oil changes and tire rotations every 5,000 miles.

The two critical maintenance intervals I'm looking at is the missed 30k and upcoming 45k. I'm going to have a reputable Prius mechanic in Berkeley, CA (Prius heaven) perform the 30k plus a visual brake check. This strategy appears to cover all the maintenance from 30k to 45k.

Tires look ok and no pronounced alignment issues so I am going to defer anything relating to them for now unless the shop flags a problem based on eyeballing alone while it's there.

Any recommendations for maintenance I may be overlooking? (Road conditions of miles driven are typical Bay Area freeways and main roads in Sonoma County, not too much idling as I go against rush hour flow for the most part).

    welcome!
you haven't missed much, there's really not much maintenance to be done at that mileage.

air and cabin filter inspect/clean/change. don't let them try to sell you anything outside the maintenance schedule that came with the car, but consider adding tranny fluid change.

So no maintenance since the last 15,000 miles?

You haven’t missed anything serious. Maybe the cabin and engine air filters and a brake inspection. My brakes, by the way, are on original pads and rotors after 140,000 miles.

If you’re in Berkeley, there’s a garage in San Francisco that’s extremely good: Luscious Garage. They’re probably best in the nation, and worth the drive. Although for basic maintenance, might not be needed.

If the OP uses them, be ready to pay handsomely for their respect ;).

But they can get the jobs done right (y).

    Thanks everyone. Good suggestions.

Nextdooor referrals are leading me to Nate’s Green Garage in Berkeley. Highly recommended. I submitted a quote via Yelp and his quoted pricing is fair, thorough, and transparent. I made an appointment for next week.
