Will a 2010 Prius w/ p0401 code(but no chk engine light) pass MA inspection?

    Hey guys, I was looking to get an inspection on my 2010 Prius.

    When I check the obd II there is a p0401 egr error code but no check engine light on the dash.

    Does anyone know if they will pass it with the error code in the system even though there is no light? Any advice to get it through inspection?

    not sure, but it would be worth cleaning the egr circuit before your head gasket fails anyway.

    how many miles on her?

    have you tried erasing the code?

    Pushing 200k, yeah I’ve erased it. It goes on and off every so often and she seems partial to using shell gasoline
