Hello good people! I am an owner of a 2007 with 237K on it. Catalytic converter is bad and I think it's time to upgrade as I don't want to put anymore money into this one. Is 13K a good price for a 2012 Prius 2 with 59k miles? Car is clean with one owner. I'm alway skittish when it comes to buying a used car. I haven't had a car payment it years but I can't avoid it any longer. Thank you for your help!

sounds high to me, but may depend on location. run it through kbb.com

before buying a gen3, educate yourself on some of the potential problems.

My zip code may be different then yours, but this is NADA on a 2012 Two trim assuming just standard features.

i haven't, but a number here have had clogged ego's, blown head gaskets, oil burning, bad a/c compressors, faulty brake actuators, and other less costly issues

Agreed but you also have to consider that a large amount of the thread traffic here are people with problems looking for solutions; even you are in a way.

That's a good point. Used cars can have problems no matter what you buy.
