Seen plenty of Goldwings pulling trailers, so this is possible. Its posted range is 100 miles, and as a Canadian made motorcycle, I have idea how that was determined. The Model X could see a 60% plus reduction in range while towing. So a Solo towing should be possible, but likely a non-starter because of its range rating.

    She might like it?

No tariffs .... because they're made right here in the good ol' U.S. of A. for ONE manufacturer
Nevada facility is spitting out lots & lots - and soon there'll be another 1,000 + acres spitting out, too. Isn't that what you do, if you're serious about the plug?

who cares if the Prez, is this side or that . . . . the BUILDERS are up for it!
(my question was this .... i wonder why Toyota didn't want to sign on to this ... or maybe they just need to give it more thought)

Forget her. What about the dogs?
Didn't the Model 3 recently sell almost as many Camries in California? Tesla's three models outsold Toyota's hybrids, including Prime and Lexus, in the US by over 31k last year.

Guess Toyota's audience is people that don't want electricification at all.

I thought the Prius was mainly electric in its propulsion and energy savings.
I guess it is black magic???

All its energy comes from gasoline. Its fuel efficiency comes from using an efficient engine, running that engine at its efficient point as much as possible, and turning it off when it isn't needed. The electric motors and battery just make the last two points easier to do, but it can be done through driving technique and manual intervention.

That isn't the topic of my response to @bisco, though. Toyota's hybrid sales in the US have been dropping. May even still be shrinking. Their main audience apparently cares less about fuel efficiency, and hybrids even less so, than the people here. At least enough so that Toyota didn't feel the need to sign onto the agreement @hill brought up.
