Thanks, ircama, you saved me from going insane after trying it for THREE DAYS and using the stopwatch in my phone. However, my Prius was bought in the Netherlands, so it must follow the EU regulations. Fortunately we can still lock all doors manually, which is an option as well.

At least I managed to adjust the seat, steering wheel and mirrors to my liking - I had to do something in the in-between pauses...

One addition! If the charging cable is plugged in, and these customizing instructions don't work, try unplugging the cable and close the charging lid. These customizations maybe can not be done if the charging lid is open, as the "power on" functions of the car's computer systems don't seem to work quite the same way with the charge cable pugged in, as opposed to it not being plugged in.

    Hi All,

Like everyone else one this thread I stumbled across it because it's essentially the only resource for this subject. However I'd tried so many times and haven't been able to get this to work. I was able to program the reverse beep to be turned off which is a similar type of thing so I'd like to think I've been doing it right. I'm starting to think that perhaps this trick doesn't work on a 2006 Gen 2? Does anyone know? It seems like a feature that would be fairly common but who knows. Any info is much appreciated.
