i've had P0A80 come on for last 18 months.
when CEL came on, it never went to limp mode.
checked block voltages with torque app every time and all were normal.

last week, opened battery pack and measured each cell.

outer cells are balanced and inner cells are balanced.
is it possibly throwing code because gap between the two are high?
if so, do i need to replace entire pack??

The code can come on for multiple reasons ;).

Getting a subcode will help with the next steps (y).

I would say you should balance them all close to same voltage

    That’s where I’d start;).

But your whole pack isn’t looking that great:cool:.

Measure all of the modules voltages and see where each one is at. In blocks 4 and 5 one cell is out in 2 of the 4 modules that compose those blocks.

If you do this yourself, you’ll want to balance the modules, otherwise the repair you do will be something you’ll get very familiar with:(.

The longer you drive without dealing with the problem the system is telling you about, the worse the other cells get as they are “making up” for the bad ones.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

    Some ideas...
Use the torque app to record the cell block data while driving.

Then export that csv data file to Google sheets and make a graph.

Or use Techstream to record the values and make a graph. This may help you see what is going live.

Carefully inspect all wiring connections, including ring terminals. Especially the ones hidden underneath other connections.

Inspect for corrosion on the orange connector that goes into the computer in the hybrid battery, as well as pins on that computer.

You could also spend time load testing all the modules and then rebalancing the pack afterwards

Where did you get the battery pack? Is it new cells or a rebuild?
