I've been working in China for the past week and it's amazing seeing all the EVs here. Granted, I'm in a city and I'm only outside for about 8 minutes a day lately but it's unmistakable.

Most of the regular passenger cars are still ICE-powered but cars are only part of the traffic.

Virtually all of the scooters, motorbikes and city buses are electric, and that seems to account for most of the actual people trying to get around.

I even saw what amounted to an electric scooter junkyard- they've had them long enough to wear some out.

Near future, the ICE cars in China will have to be at least a mild hybrid.
