    Seems like they are NOT checking to find the problem, they are just changing parts until it's fixed....

    UPDATE 5 - Final

    They tried the ECU ($1200), That did not fix the problem. They had it another week and reinstalled the camera. Now it works... 6 weeks later.

    They only charged for new window, camera and calibration ($3400). Insurance covers all of it since I have free replacement glass coverage, I would NEVER pay that much personally.

    Lessons learned:

    1) Safelite is horrible

    2) Take car to dealer to get windshield replaced.

    3) Never switch shops mid-repair (I should have known better, but I was in a rush... ironic how that worked out)

    Glad they got it working for you. Insurance is a pain! They DON'T want to spend the money and will
    have the repair place do the cheapest things first hoping that will work, instead of doing it right the first time.
    I had my windshield replaced Monday, the 20th. Safelite did it. They guy was very good and you can't
    even tell he did it. I am very happy with him. Can't speak for anyone else from the company.
    My only complaint is with the lady from the insurance company. I said I wanted a Toyota windshield, NOT an
    equivalent. She said it WOULD be a Toyota one.
    She lied! So now I get to nag them about lying to me.
