On-screen COMPASS: Ever offered on a Prius c?

    I recently drove over to my friends at a nearby body shop to ask their advice about a few things, including whether it would be easy for them to attach a small compass to the inside center-top of my windshield. (Since my cell phone is just a "flip" phone, it has no GPS.)
    The experienced (in body repair) fellow looked into the cabin...and was CONVINCED that my car (2012 Prius c Two) had an on-screen compass---I couldn't persuade him otherwise. (There's no mention of "Compass" in my owner's manual.)
    Question: Has Toyota ever included an on-screen compass in any model or year of the Prius c?:confused:

    not in the true sense of the word, but if you have gps, i believe you can select true north on the map

    I'm pretty sure the 2 trim that year didn't come with navigation. If it did, bisco's suggestion could help. The 2d north map layout option fixed the map so that N was always at the top of the screen. You can figure out the rest from there.

    The 2012 two and the 2014 two only has a am/fm w/ cd, no navigation screen.
    Possibly the four may have nav

    Not unless you bought used and aftermarket was installed?

    The most common way to achieve it in a car priced like the c is with substitute rearview mirror. The compass usually appears as a 2-character alpha “N ” “SE” “SW” etc lit up in the corner of the mirror.

    Gentex sells these, they are easy to substitute into any car once you work out which mount type you need.

    I don’t think Toyota ever included this, but it’s a very easy upgrade.
