i imagine that hummer drivers probably roll their eyes at prius drivers... at least i wouldn't be all that surprised. i always find myself thinking something to the effect of "whatever, dude, not impressed" when i see a hummer on the road.

i've never had any respect for anything that isn't much more than a status symbol. but we all have our own priorities.

the only hummer i like is the tiny one at the feeder in my backyard.

You're still assuming he's trying to impress you in the first place.

aA friend of mine works as a carpenter he has a huge box of tools he has to carry with him not to mention job related supplies. He has a f-250 diesel but it makes since for him he needs it. the rest of my friends don’t need that junk why do people think they need a tank to go on short trips to get a slushy. When I leased a Mini Cooper my friends said it was not safe, I showed him the comparison with the f-150, the Mini out preformed an big old truck. I felt safer in that car than in a top heavy truck that wobbles getting off the freeway. Ever swerve to miss something at 60mph in a truck its scary, even in my Prius I feel more stable maneuvering at high speed. Although the tires chirp a bit you can still maintain a feel for the road and control over the vehicle as its weight transfer is a little more predictable and stable.
