Where to buy silicone wipers for 2006 Gen 2 Prius

    I need silicone wiper blades for my 2006 Prius. Was thinking of PIAA, but they're so expensive. And I can't make heads or tails from the descriptions of the others. (Are they really entirely silicone, or just coated?)

    Does anyone know of a cheaper source for PIAA blades? Or perhaps another source of info on other blades?

    Amazon has some silicone blades I bought before, but they were $25 per blade.

    Silicone lasts much longer (holds up under the sun) than the regular rubber stuff and seems to wipe cleaner....longer. But if you can get Costco cheapo blades for $6, it's like changing them 4 times.

    JC91006 was an hour ahead of me! I've been grimacing and bearing it forever. I just wanted something that would last – and keep my windshield clean, if possible.

    So as I’m looking at all the different types of blades on Rock Auto I had a question. What type of blades did a gen 2 Prius originally come with? Conventional frame, improved frame, hybrid frame or beam?
